Arnold's Story: January 25, 1949 MHN

The Nevis family clearly enjoys the art exhibition "Berlin Masterpieces" at the Los Angeles County Museum exposition park. Entrance cost was 30 cents. The art work was stolen by Hitler and the Nazis of the Third Reich, recovered by the monuments men of the World War II Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program, and eventually repatriated to rightful pre-war owners. 

Leonard was an active athlete throughout much of his life — skiing, sailing, and hiking. Here he, his wife Pat and their friends take advantage of the recent snowfall in Southern California to ski at Big Pines in the San Gabriel Mountains.
